I am a research economist with the Center for Economic Studies at the US Census Bureau. I received my PhD from the University of Kentucky in July 2022.
My research focus is on measuring data quality and its impact on estimation and population statistics. One current line of research is on using linked survey, Census, and administrative data to improve estimates of immigrant populations and their residential locations. A second line of research is estimating the socioeconomic effects policy changes has on immigrant groups. My CV is available [here]. Contact Information: Email: andres.f.mira[at]census.gov |
